Finding cheap office space in Central London can be a challenge; the heart of the capital is prime real estate and so demand is high and rents are even higher. Lots of large, prestigious businesses seek out offices with Central London addresses and it can be difficult to compete. But far from being defeatist, we’ve done some digging and found a selection of great offices that allow you to have the postcode you desire at a price tag that you can afford.

When we think of Central London, some of the first things that come to mind are the theatres of the West End, shopping on Oxford Street or Regent Street, and dining in the stunning restaurants of Mayfair. It’s no wonder so many companies want their HQ to be in this area. The definition of what constitutes ‘Central London’ varies but it almost always includes the following neighbourhoods: Soho, Covent Garden, Pimlico, Mayfair, Marylebone, Fitzrovia, Bloomsbury, Holborn, Clerkenwell and the City of London.

Keyboard & Dreams’ Clerkenwell office is right next to Farringdon station - just a 4-minute walk from there and a similar distance walk to Chancery Lane station. 

The team at Keyboard & Dreams has a few office spaces across London but their Holborn is their most central space. They are a great option if you are looking for a cheaper option in Central London that you can call your own.

Keyboards and Dreams Clerkenwell

They are a little different in that they don’t have any onsite team, hot desks, events or meeting rooms they rent out externally. They are a very relaxed crowd - focused on making offices that feel like home. They also have a fab outdoor courtyard and bike storage. 

Office prices are very competitive at around £450 + VAT per desk per month and they’re all-inclusive, so just one monthly price.

Canopy - Holborn, 1 Quality Court, Chancery Lane, London WC2A

Canopy is a relatively new flexible office provider, but they’re already gaining fans for their reasonably-priced office spaces in great locations 

Canopy’s office at 1 Quality Court is just a 2-minute walk from Chancery Lane and a 7-minute walk from Farringdon. The space itself has a breakout area, tea & coffee, and a kitchen. 

All the offices feature lots of natural light and there is access to one 8-person meeting room. There is no charge for use of the communal meeting rooms and all their offices come fully furnished with desks, chairs and pedestals.

They have a range of spaces sized up to a 40-person office. In terms of prices, a 4-person office is approximately £1,600 + VAT per month.

Hamilton House - 3-7 Temple Avenue, Temple, London EC4Y 0DA

Hamilton House is a 6-minute walk from Blackfriars station and a 7-minute walk from City Thameslink station. Making it an easy-to-access office for all. 

The space itself is in a beautiful listed building that's surrounded by gardens and features a beautiful atrium and entrance area. The offices come furnished and there is a private wrap-around roof terrace with amazing views of the river. Many of the building’s original features remain, including The offices having lovely wooden floors and high ceilings.

Canvas, Clerkenwell - 8 Albemarle Way EC1V 4JB

Just a 5-minute walk from Farringdon station, Canvas’ space in Clerkenwell is beautiful. It is tucked away off the main street so it’s lovely and quiet, whilst also being centrally-located. The offices are spread over three floors and they all have gorgeouus exposed wooden floors, high ceilings, and large windows. 

The building is very well-equipped with a private balcony, showers, bike storage, and a communal kitchen and breakout area. 

The team at Canvas is great and you can customise the space as you want. Including doing internal work on the space  if you need to.

Canvas Clerkenwell

Offices start at £2,900 + VAT for a 6-person office. They have a range of office sizes available and another building only a few moments away with even more options!
